What’s planned: Metro / Rail Connectivity to Jewar Airport

A dedicated metro line from Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) / Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) is proposed to link Jewar Airport with Greater Noida’s Knowledge Park?2. This line spans ~ 35–37 km: most part elevated (? 32–34 km), while the section near the airport will be underground. The approved budget for the metro-corridor project (or corridors) connecting Jewar Airport via Knowledge Park-2 is in the ballpark of ?6,869–?7,000 crore. The plan includes two metro lines: one being an “exclusive Airport Express Line” (fast connectivity, minimal/ no stops between Knowledge Park-2 and airport), and another “local” line weaving through residential/commercial sectors along Yamuna Expressway — useful for real-estate zones along the corridor.
